A student of a Kyiv technical school, under the guidance of Russian special services, set fire to the doors of two departments in the Solomianskyi district using incendiary mixture, and, having broken the glass in another department in Darnytskyi district, set it on fire from the inside.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Kyiv Police and the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
How did the arsonist act?
According to the investigation, the young man received an offer to set fire to three post offices in Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital for USD 1,000 via the Telegram messenger.
Having agreed to this offer, he bought a flammable substance at a petrol station, then drove to the post offices specified by the customer, broke a window and poured petrol on the front door, and then threw a piece of cardboard into the room, which set the front door on fire.
He recorded all his actions on his mobile phone.
"The aggressor keeps trying to destabilise Ukrainian society inside the country by inventing new provocations - the latest of which was the arson of post offices in the capital. To destroy such infrastructure facilities, enemy special services are actively recruiting young people, taking advantage of their ignorance and motivating them with "easy" earnings," the police said.
Over the past few days, three post offices in Kyiv have been set on fire - the first two cases occurred in Solomianskyi district, where the fire damaged the front door, and in Darnytskyi district, the premises and mail of citizens were burnt down.
"All the cases occurred during the curfew, which is not yet envisaged by law," the police added.
