Zelenskyy honors memory of those killed in Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. VIDEO+PHOTOS
On Friday (11 April), President Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to the site of the Russian missile attack in Kryvyi Rih on 4 April to honor memory of the dead Ukrainians.
This is stated in his post on social media, Censor.NET reports.
"Kryvyi Rih. An ordinary city district. There are no residential buildings around, only civilian buildings. On 4 April, a Russian ballistic missile struck right next to houses and a playground, right down the street, and took the lives of 19 people, 9 of whom were children," Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State stressed that everyone in the world "should not forget that human life is worthless to Russia".
According to the President's Office, the head of state installed a lamp and placed the toy at the site of the playground hit.
The President also inspected the site of the attack with the head of the Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhii Lysak.
Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on 4 April, the occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih. As of 7 April, there were 20 dead, including 9 children, and more than 60 injured. A three-day mourning period will be held in Kryvyi Rih due to the Russian missile strike. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the search and rescue operation at the site of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih has been completed.
On April 6, a man injured in the Russian strike died in hospital. This brings the death toll from the attack on Kryvyi Rih to 20.
