Russian forces have once again attacked civilian railway infrastructure in the Chernihiv region.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the press centre of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.

As noted, an enemy UAV struck a diesel locomotive, causing a fire.

"The driver and his assistant were injured in the attack. They are receiving the necessary medical attention," the statement said.

All relevant services are working at the scene.

It was previously reported that the day before, Russian forces had attacked railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Mykolaiv regions.
On 4 March, Russian troops struck the south of the Odesa region. A transport infrastructure facility was hit. Four casualties were reported. In particular, two children were in a moderately serious condition. Another casualty is in a serious condition.
