In Volyn, rescue workers have extinguished large-scale fires that broke out at civilian sites as a result of Russian shelling.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Volyn Oblast.
According to the service, the largest fire occurred at the Nova Poshta terminal, where the fire covered an area of 3,600 square metres. Firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the administrative building.

In addition, rescue workers extinguished a fire in a warehouse covering an area of approximately 21,000 square metres.
Units of the State Emergency Service, bomb disposal experts, fire engines, specialist equipment, and two firefighting robots were deployed to deal with the aftermath.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the fires.

As previously reported by Censor.NET, following the Russian attack, Lutsk was engulfed in thick smoke due to fires at civilian sites, including an enterprise. The city authorities urged residents to keep their windows tightly closed to prevent harmful substances from entering their homes.
The shelling also caused a fire in a high-rise building after debris from a drone fell on it, which was successfully extinguished. Meanwhile, work continued to put out large-scale fires at warehouses, and earlier reports indicated a strike on an industrial facility and the destruction of a "Nova Poshta" terminal.
