Pressure on Russia

For his part, Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis stressed that the attack was yet another deliberate Russian strike on civilians and proof that the aggressor country has no desire to end this bloody war. According to him, the only way to force Russia to stop is to increase international pressure and raise the cost of aggression.

He called on foreign partners to firmly condemn this crime, step up sanctions pressure on Russia, and provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems to protect civilians and prevent similar tragedies in the future. He also stressed the need to hold everyone involved in Russia’s crimes against the Ukrainian people accountable.
