On the night of Wednesday, 5 November, explosions were heard in Oryol, Russia, particularly in the area of the TPP.

Oryol residents reported explosions
"On the night of 5 November, residents of Oryol reported explosions. It was claimed that the local TPP was under attack again. One of the videos captured moments of the explosions - according to ASTRA's analysis, the footage was shot in the area of Yagodny pereulok. The distance from the filming location to the Oryol TPP is about 1.5 kilometres," the report says.
What hit the city?
The governor of the region said that "as a result of the work of air defence forces over Oryol, UAVs were destroyed. When their individual elements fell, several private houses and outbuildings were damaged." At the same time, residents say that the attack was a missile strike. This opinion is also shared by OSINT analyst ASTRA.
"The attack on the TPP was carried out using a jet weapon - a missile or a jet UAV. The video does not show any air raid sirens, air defence forces, or the characteristic buzzing of a propeller UAV," he said.
Less than a kilometre from the Oryol TPP is the Oreltekmash defence enterprise, which manufactures mobile maintenance, repair and evacuation vehicles for the military.
