According to Censor.NET, in his address, he drew a historical parallel, comparing the current losses of the occupiers with the losses of the Wehrmacht during the occupation of Poland in 1939.
"Remember, Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that figure - 20,000 "Wagnerites" killed in Bakhmut - and probably no fewer from the Russian Defence Ministry's units. And let me remind you that when the Wehrmacht took Poland in September 1939, its losses were just over 20,000. In other words, Bakhmut alone resulted in such losses," Kalashnikov said.
Russia is paying a huge price
According to him, in the battle for Pokrovsk, the Russian army may lose a comparable number of soldiers, which demonstrates the real scale of the disaster that the Kremlin is trying to hide.
