Hero from Tysmenychany: National Guard Sergeant Yuri Kostiuk rescued four comrades. VIDEO

27-year-old Yurii Kostiuk from the village of Tysmenychany in Ivano-Frankivsk region has been defending Ukraine for four years. He currently serves as a company sergeant major in the 50th regiment of the National Guard named after Semen Vysochan.

The path of a warrior

According to Censor.NET, Yurii has been through the hottest spots on the front line - Marinka, Serebrianskyi Forest, Pokrovsk.
During this time, he had been wounded twice, but after treatment he returned to his position again.

Saved his comrades

During one of the battles, the soldier carried four comrades out of the line of fire, saving their lives.
