In 3 years and 8 months, Russian Federation has captured 23% of Donetsk Oblast, - DeepState. VIDEO
Over the past 3 years and 8 months (44 months or 1,350 days), the enemy has captured 23% of the Donetsk region, while 22.6% remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
According to Censor.NET, this information was reported by analysts from the DeepState project.
The dynamics of the occupation of Donetsk Oblast
"Although the dynamics of the occupation of Donetsk Oblast remain quite lively in terms of daily updates, in the context of control over the entire region, they are very slow," analysts note.
Before the full-scale invasion, militants from pro-Russian terrorist groups controlled approximately 32% of the region. During the first 40 days of the invasion, due to the collapse of defences in southern Ukraine and the encirclement of Mariupol, the enemy managed to capture another 22.4% of Donetsk Oblast.
"After that, the pace of advancement slowed down, as the Defence Forces stood up from Velyka Novosilka to Vuhledar, and the Russians were worn down in assaults on the Donetsk Fortified Area," DeepState reported.
It will take at least three years for the Russian Federation to occupy the entire Donetsk region
"It is a historical fact that in less than 47 months, the German Wehrmacht managed to advance from the Western Bug to Moscow and Stalingrad, and then return to Berlin. In contrast, the "second army of the world" advanced from Donetsk to Pokrovsk in almost the same period of time.
It is difficult to understand how American partners consider such a "turtle-like advance" to be an advantage. Although, of course, we are also unable to liberate all internationally recognised territories given the current configuration of forces," analysts note.
At the same time, it is emphasised that, in general, if there are no major changes, it will take Russian troops at least three years to occupy the entire Donetsk region.
