Disregard for safety rules and driving on thin ice led to a fatal accident in the Kyiv region. According to Censor.NET, a video has been published online showing the moment a passenger car sank.
The footage shows the driver drifting on the frozen surface of the Kyiv Reservoir. At one point, the ice could not support the weight of the vehicle, and the car instantly sank to the bottom.
The consequences of dangerous entertainment:

Fatality: According to preliminary information, one person who was in the car died as a result of the incident.

Search operation: Rescuers are working at the scene. The search for another person, whose fate remains unknown, is ongoing.

Ignoring the danger: Despite the changing temperature and warnings from the State Emergency Service about the dangers of going out on the ice, the driver deliberately drove onto the surface of the reservoir to perform dangerous manoeuvres.
Rescuers are once again urging citizens not to drive on the ice, as the thickness of the ice on open water bodies is currently unstable and not designed to withstand such loads.
"A car fell through the ice and sank while drifting on the Kyiv Reservoir. One person died, another is being searched for. A senseless death due to the desire for adrenaline," witnesses and eyewitnesses commented on the incident on social media.
