The Ukhta oil refinery was hit by long-range drones from the SSU's "Alpha" Special Operations Centre.

It is noted that this is a new record for the range of Ukrainian drones.

A fire and heavy smoke were reported at the refinery after the strikes. Preliminary reports indicate that the atmospheric-vacuum tubular unit and the visbreaking unit, which are responsible for the primary processing of oil and its distribution into fractions, as well as the production of commercial fuel oil, petrol and gas oil, were hit.

What preceded it?

Earlier, there were reports of an attack on the city of Ukhta, as a result of which locals observed a thick column of black smoke above the city.
Subsequently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the attack on the oil refinery.
