Russian generals said that Starlink was not needed by Russian army: "It was used to mislead enemy". VIDEO
The Russian military leadership has invented a new way to justify its technological helplessness - to declare another failure a "brilliant plan." According to Censor.NET, the Russian Ministry of Defence has issued an official comment on the shutdown of the Starlink satellite communication system.
According to the Kremlin's official version, the loss of Musk's terminals is not a consequence of sanctions or blocking, but a "desirable result."
The main "gems" from the occupiers:
-
"Disinformation operation": Russian generals said that Starlink was used by the Russian army solely to "mislead the enemy." They say they deliberately pretended to be dependent on American satellites.
-
Victory in dimension Z: The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that thanks to "advanced domestic means," they "took Kupiansk" two months ago. The fact that Kupiansk is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Russian propagandists themselves complain daily about the complexity of the fighting in this area, does not bother the generals.
-
Rejection of Musk: According to Shoigu and Bilousov's department, they "didn't really need" the connection, as they allegedly have analogues that "work better".
Social media reaction:
Users and military experts have already dubbed this statement the height of cynicism and stupidity. It is obvious that the disaster with communications and drone control after the blocking of Starlink is forcing the Kremlin to invent a parallel reality where they "win" even without the internet.
"What a bunch of idiots! First, they stole terminals through 'grey' schemes, and when they were turned into bricks, they claimed it was a plan to disorient the enemy. And the story about Kupiansk deserves a separate ward in a mental hospital," people joke online.
