"We will not win war unless we change current state of affairs," said military officer Kharkhan. VIDEO

Military officer Mykola (Kyiv-born) Kharkhan raised the issue of social justice and mobilisation processes. He stressed that without changes, particularly in approaches to mobilisation, Ukraine risks losing the war.

He made this statement in a video on his Facebook page, reports Censor.NET.

The need for change

"Looking at what is happening at the front and what is happening behind the lines, I will say this: if we do not change this state of affairs, we will not win the war. We will absolutely not win. One part of society cannot sit at the front non-stop, losing their lives and health, whilst the other part, the majority, sits and steals money intended for the military, for technology, for weapons, for salaries, and pretends that nothing is happening," says the military officer.

Only 5% of police officers are at the front

Kharkhan noted that the Ukrainian army consists mainly of former civilians. He is outraged that only a small number of law enforcement officers are fighting at the front.

"The largest law enforcement body, the 'police' – 5% of them are people carrying out tasks at the front, but, unfortunately, this rotten 'police' system, numbering several hundred thousand, can be said today to be working against the army and against the people of Ukraine. This is my objective opinion. It is not the opinion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nor is it the opinion of my unit – it is my opinion. Why do I think this? I have evidence to back it up. I recently posted: the police have opened criminal proceedings against a soldier who was attacked by ‘titushki’ near his home in the Holosiivskyi district... Systematic harassment of soldiers on the roads, whilst on leave, on business trips, and the illegal issuing of fines," said the defence lawyer.

He notes that police officers have no right to issue fines to military personnel, pointing out that the Military Law Enforcement Service is designated by law for this purpose.

"The police, tens of thousands of whom have gone over to the side of the bastards, and God forbid that in this five-year war the bastards should end up near Kyiv, they’ll hoist the tricolour and be there. This utterly degenerate individual, Klymenko, in the post of minister, who is untrained to fight, who can do nothing, they are constantly recruiting stomachs there. Why? For what? What’s the point of doing this? They aren’t fighting. Those 5% of lads they’re sending in are, of course, fine lads, but that’s 5%, if that. And where are the 95%? How many of police are there? How many have gone over to the faggots’ side?" asks Kharkhan.

Violence during mobilisation

In addition, the soldier is outraged by instances of physical violence during mobilisation measures involving police officers and military personnel from the TCR and SS.

"Systematic (violations) on the orders of that scum Klymenko, and this comes from Tatarov – beatings, abductions of people on the streets by the police and TCR. It all comes from the Kremlinites. Because Tatarov and Yermak are their direct agents. There’s been a Russian trail stretching back to the Maidan. And the police and TCR members are carrying out their orders illegally. The TCR members are a mixed bunch – they’ve dragged in ‘titushki’ who dispersed the Maidan protests, the police have joined in, and it’s them who are beating people up on the streets. Our lads, who are wounded and beaten up, don’t do this, but nobody talks about that," says Kharkhan.

The President is not responding

The soldier is convinced that such brutal methods are aimed at disrupting mobilisation. At the same time, he notes that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not reacting to this in any way.

"The person holding the office of president, whose term of office has expired, is not commenting on this at all. He remains silent because the Constitutional Court’s ruling has already made it unequivocally clear: in Ukraine, the president is elected for a term of five years. That’s it, full stop. Neither martial law nor field conditions can override the fact that elections are held in five years’ time... Holoborodko’s presidential powers have expired; we won’t win the war with him... Simple and clear facts – use your head: seven years on, why do we have no ballistic missile production when we have everything we need for it? They aren’t in the warehouses. Fact? Fact. Why don’t we have the Dnipro ‘Kilchen’ air defence system? Ukrainian industry is ready to produce it. Fact? Fact. But we have virtual ‘Flamindichis’," said the soldier.

In his video, the soldier also mentioned that the recently appointed Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov had initiated a comprehensive reform of the TCR and SS.

"Right now there is a new initiative from Minister Fedorov to have the TCRs abolished, with their powers transferred to the Administrative Service Centres and recruitment centres. Send half of the police to the front line so they understand why you can’t treat the military like that," suggested Kharkhan.
