Professional manoeuvre by operator of 66th SMB’s UGV saved system from being hit by enemy FPV drone. VIDEO
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces are attempting to disrupt the logistics of Ukrainian units, in particular by attacking ground-based robotic systems.
According to Censor.NET, the UGVs of 66th SMB named after Prince M. the Brave is under constant attacks.
However, thanks to the training and coordination of the crews, Ukrainian troops are not only carrying out their tasks but also preserving their equipment.
After completing another logistics mission, the crew of the unmanned ground systems company of the "MARA" battalion spotted an enemy FPV drone heading straight for the UGV.
The operator, call sign "Kas", kept his cool, paused, and executed a manoeuvre at the last moment before impact, when the enemy no longer expected a change in trajectory.
Thanks to this, he managed to avoid being hit, preserve the system and successfully return it to its starting position.
