Elimination of occupiers’ flag-bearers who filmed propaganda videos about "liberation" of Novoselivka and Huliaipilske in Zaporizhzhia region. VIDEO

The Russian military command has claimed to have taken control of the settlements of Novoselivka and Huliaipilske in the Zaporizhzhia region. To back this up, a video has been circulated online showing several servicemen from the Russian Armed Forces’ 38th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade posing with a Russian flag on the outskirts of the aforementioned villages.

According to Censor.NET, Ukrainian units have released a counter-video showing how events unfolded subsequently. Immediately after the propaganda footage was filmed, the Russian assault group was attacked by drones from the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade and the 61st Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As a result of the fire, the enemy personnel were eliminated, and one of the Russian servicemen was taken prisoner. The footage from independent sources also captures the moment when a Ukrainian drone flies right up close to one of the occupiers, who was carrying a flag and made no attempt to avoid the strike.
