Last night, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian military facilities and critical infrastructure with cruise missiles and attack drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the General Staff.
As noted, the enemy fired up to 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles from nine Tu-95MS strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea.
From the northern and southern directions, the enemy attacked with Iranian Shahed-136/131 UAVs. A total of 35 attack drones.
"Air defence was operating in the areas of responsibility of all air commands of the Air Force: "Centre", "East", "South", and "West"," the statement said.
According to the General Staff, the forces and means of the air commands, in cooperation with the air defence of other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, destroyed 67 air targets:
- 37 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
- 29 "Shahed-136/131" attack UAVs;
- 1 reconnaissance UAV of operational and tactical level.
As reported, on the night of 29 May, at 0:40 a.m., an air alert was announced in Kyiv and several regions.
In the morning, the head of the KCMA, Serhii Popko, said that the Defence Forces had destroyed more than 40 air targets over Kyiv. The roof of a residential building was damaged by falling debris in the Podil district of Kyiv.
On the night of 29 May, explosions occurred in the Khmelnytsky region.
