Brigade Commander of 128th Brigade Lysiuk was late for awarding ceremony. While soldiers were waiting for him, Russian Federation struck with "Iskander", - mass media

The commander of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Zakarpattia (Transcarpathia)", Dmytro Lysiuk, was late for the awarding of soldiers to the Day of Missile Troops and Artillery, which was organized in Zaporizhzhia. The military waited for the commander for more than half an hour, after which the ruscists struck.
As Censor.NET informs, this was reported to "Hromadske" by sources in the brigade.
The interlocutor of the publication said that initially the award ceremony was planned for 9 a.m., but it was postponed to 9:30 a.m. At this time, the military was already lined up and waiting for the commander. A Russian strike took place at about 10:10 a.m.
The Brigade Commander arrived literally 2 minutes after the hit, writes "Hromadske".
The publication's sources said that the Russians followed the soldiers of the 128th Brigade from a drone, adjusting the missile strike. However, the invaders made a mistake and hit the building behind the soldiers, closer to the road.
"And it turns out that all those who stood closer to the road, they are all 200 (killed. - Ed.). And the personnel who were specifically to be awarded (gun commanders, gunners, artillerymen) were slightly covered by the wall of the house that was hit by the Iskander. Due to this, the victims are a little less," the interlocutor said.
At the same time, many soldiers were injured by shrapnel.
As Censor.NET previously reported, on November 4, a terrible situation occurred in the 128th Brigade - the occupiers struck at Ukrainian servicemen in one of the frontline villages of Zaporizhzhia region during the formation for the presentation of awards on the occasion of the Day of Missile Forces and Artillery.
In the Zakarpattia region, a three-day mourning period for the fallen soldiers has been announced.
The 128th Brigade confirmed the death of 19 soldiers due to a Russian missile attack.
