Ukrainian troops repel 37 attacks in Kurakhove sector, enemy concentrates main efforts near Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove and Katerynivka - General Staff
In total, 144 combat engagements were recorded at the frontline over the past day, October 27, 2024.

Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, as well as 91 air strikes, including 184 GABs. In addition, it made 4410 shellings.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Khrinivka, Bleshenia, Vorobiivka, Prohres in Chernihiv region; Korenok, Basivka, Novenke, Obody, Oleksandrivka, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Velyka Berizka, Starykove, Lisne, Stepanivka, Chernatske, Pokrivka, Volodymyrivka, Volfyne, Mezenivka, Iskryskivka, Myropillia, Stepne, Bilovody, Ivanivka, Yunakivka in Sumy region; Kudiivka, Mali Prokhody, Vovchansk, Lozova in Kharkiv region; Novoyehorivka in Luhansk region; Terny, Sviato-Pokrovske, Bila Hora, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Romanivka, Kostiantynivka, Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Stara Mykolaivka, Oleksandropil, Uspenivka, Kurakhove, Antonivka, Velyka Novosilka, Novoandriivka, Yasna Poliana in Donetsk Oblast; Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Kozachi Laheri, Novotiahynka in Kherson Oblast.
Strikes on the enemy
Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted eleven strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, destroying one control center and one artillery system.
It should be reminded that in total, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1680 people over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 7 tanks, 40 armored combat vehicles, 51 artillery systems, 68 operational and tactical UAVs, 100 units of automotive and 14 units of special equipment of the occupiers, as well as one heavy flamethrower system.
Situation in the Kharkiv region
As noted, four enemy attacks on Ukrainian positions took place in the area of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv sector over the past day.
In the Kupyansk sector, 20 occupiers' attacks took place. Defense forces repelled the enemy's offensive towards Kindrashivka, Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Kruhliakivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, Pershotravneve and Vyshneve.
Situation in the east
According to the General Staff, the enemy attacked 16 times in the Lyman sector. The enemy concentrated its main offensive efforts in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Novomykhailivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Serebryanka and Hryhorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked nine times in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Predtechyne.
It is also noted that in the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out six attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, while the enemy actively used bombers, dropping up to ten guided bombs.
"In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 27 aggressor's offensives towards Myroliubivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Vyshneve and Selydove.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 37 attacks. The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Kurakhove and Katerynivka," the statement said.
Situation in the south
With the support of aviation in the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made eight assaults on our positions near Novoukrainka and Bohoiavlenka.
In the Orikhiv and Huliaipillia directions, the enemy actively used attack and bombing aircraft, including dropping more than a dozen guided bombs.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian invaders attacked our positions three times. We received a tough rebuff and suffered losses.
Situation in the north
According to the General Staff, no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia directions have been detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
"The operation in Kursk region is ongoing, the aggressor carried out 29 air strikes, dropped 42 GABs, and fired 323 artillery rounds in the last day," the General Staff emphasizes.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
