Example of Syria shows that Russia can be driven away, - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Landsbergis

The fall of the dictator Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria shows that Russia can be driven out of the regions where it causes chaos.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
"The example of Syria shows that Russia can be expelled and will go home," the diplomat said.
He added that the Baltics were right - the West is strong enough to win.
"We don't need to be afraid of the 'bear' (referring to Russia - ed.) in Ukraine or anywhere else, it is causing chaos," Landsbergis added.
As a reminder, on November 28, after four years of relative calm, fighting between Bashar al-Assad's forces and opposition groups resumed with renewed vigor on the outskirts of Aleppo.
"Hayat Tahrir al-Sham announced a large-scale military operation against government forces. During the operation, they claimed to have captured over 400 square kilometers of territory, including strategically important areas.
