On 29 November, social media users reported an explosion and detonation of rocket fuel associated with the destruction of air defence elements.

"This is the second reported successful strike on Russian S-400 air defence systems by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in November following the destruction of the S-400 air defence system in the Kursk Oblast on 23 November 2024," the British Ministry of Defence said.

As a reminder, on 28 November, Ukrainian intelligence officers burned down a Russian 48Ya6-K1 "Podlyot" radar system in the temporarily occupied Crimea. It was noted that the mobile radar 48Ya6-K1 "Podlyot" is used by the occupiers to detect air targets at low and extremely low altitudes in "difficult interference conditions".
