SAPO announces another suspicion to "servant of people" Kormyshkina: she failed to declare her house and land plots
The SAPO has served a new suspicion on the current People's Deputy Iryna Kormyshkina: she failed to declare the residential building where she lives and land plots.

"On January 09, 2025, on behalf of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the SAPO prosecutor served a new suspicion on the current People's Deputy of Ukraine of intentionally entering knowingly false information in the declaration of a person authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption"," the statement said.
The investigation found that the People's Deputy in the declaration for 2023 did not reflect information about the residential building in which she lives and land plots near Odesa worth more than UAH 17 million, which were acquired at the expense of unjustified assets.
It should be noted that the fact that the People's Deputy of Ukraine acquired assets exceeding UAH 20 million in official income and savings for this period is the subject of investigation by the SAPO and the NABU. On October 16, 2024, the said person was served a notice of suspicion under Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Thus, the actions of the said People's Deputy are now qualified under Articles 366-2, 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, other persons involved in these crimes are being identified.
The prosecutor's office did not name the suspect, but the circumstances point to a member of the Servant of the People faction, Iryna Kormyshkina.
The case of the "servant of the people" Kormyshkina
As a reminder, in November 2022, a case was opened against Kormyshkina, a "servant of the people" who was presented with UAH 20 million and a valuable watch. As reported at the time, the People`s Deputy received UAH 14.4 million as a gift. Prior to that, she was presented with another UAH 5.3 million and a Swiss watch worth UAH 310,000 inlaid with 11 white diamonds. The donor was her father, but open data does not show that he had no official income of this amount.
On 17 October 2024, the SAPO served the People`s Deputy with a notice of suspicion.
On 23 October 2024, the HACC imposed a measure of restraint in the form of a personal guarantee. The guarantors were the head of the "Servant of the People" faction, Davyd Arakhamiia, and the head of the Mykolaiv RMA, Vitalii Kim.
