Suicide of man in Khmelnytskyi TCR: he was taken to MMC, cut himself with box cutter – Prosecutor’s Office
The man who committed suicide in the TCR and SS in Khmelnytskyi on February 13 was taken to the premises to undergo a military medical commission.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Yuliia Shevchenko, a spokeswoman for the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office in the Western Region, to Suspilne Khmelnytskyi.
According to her, on February 13, a 35-year-old local resident was taken to the premises of the city's TCR and SS to undergo a medical examination.
"However, shortly afterwards, in one of the offices, he took a box cutter and cut his neck. The man died of massive bleeding on the way to the hospital," the spokeswoman said.
Law enforcement officers opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with a note on suicide.
All the necessary investigative (search) and procedural actions are being carried out, examinations are underway to establish the objective circumstances of the incident, and all possible versions are being checked, she added.
As a reminder, on February 13, in Khmelnytskyi, one of the persons liable for military service committed suicide while undergoing a military medical examination at the TCR and SS.
