Issue of Ukraine will not be resolved without Ukraine – Lukashenko. VIDEO

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko has said that his Russian counterpart Putin told him about his talks with Donald Trump and the United States.

According to Censor.NET, he said this in an interview.

The dictator said that he had told him "in general terms" about the conversation with the US leader, about the talks in Saudi Arabia, and about rare earth metals.

"In a week, we will meet with him (Putin - Ed.) in Moscow and talk in great detail about all the issues. ... Then he went on to say that Ukrainians and Zelenskyy were offended that they were not invited to Saudi Arabia. He said: "Why invite them if the issues there were Russia and the United States. The issue of Ukraine was only briefly touched upon in these talks. That's why there was no need to invite Ukraine." But Trump has already said this, in this vein.

When the issues of Ukraine are resolved, I think that no one will resolve these issues without Ukraine," the self-proclaimed president said.

Meeting in Saudi Arabia

As a reminder, on 12 February 2025, Trump said that his meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin was likely to take place in Saudi Arabia.

Trump also said that a meeting between representatives of Ukraine, the United States and Russia would take place in Saudi Arabia next week.

On 14 February, the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced that the Kingdom was ready to host a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

On 18 February, delegations from the US and Russia met in Saudi Arabia.

Both sides described it as positive. The United States and Russia agreed to resume the full-fledged work of the US embassies in Moscow and Russia in Washington. The key issue was to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine.

Fox News reported that Russia and the United States are allegedly proposing a three-stage peace plan, including a ceasefire, elections in Ukraine, and then a final agreement.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Trump and Putin may hold a summit in Saudi Arabia next week.

Donald Trump has announced that the next round of talks between the US and Russia will take place on Tuesday, 25 February. Saudi Arabia will again be the venue for the talks between Washington and Moscow.

At the same time, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that no meeting between representatives of Russia and the United States is being prepared for 25 February in Riyadh.
