Musk could leave his position in few months - Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump wants billionaire Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), to "stay as long as possible."
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to NBC.
At the same time, the US leader admitted that there will come a time when "he will have to leave" - partly because of the companies he runs.
Journalists asked how long Trump thought Musk, who is classified as a temporary civil servant, would work in the administration, and Trump said: "I mean, as long as he wants to."
Trump said Musk would likely leave his position in "a few months."
"I think in a few months," the US president added.
Earlier, US Vice President J.D. Vance said that billionaire Elon Musk will remain an advisor to US President Donald Trump even after he leaves his post as head of the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).
As a reminder, the day before, Politico wrote that US President Donald Trump told his entourage that Elon Musk would soon leave public service and return to business.
White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt commented on Politico's report that Elon Musk will soon leave his post as head of the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE). Levitt called this report "garbage".
