Enemy aims to advance towards Hryshyne
In the short term, Russian forces aim to reach the settlement of Hryshyne, northwest of Pokrovsk. Unable to break through Pokrovsk's defences or use it as a staging ground, they are attempting to bypass Pokrovsk.
Defence of Myrnohrad
At the same time, the enemy continues unsuccessful attempts to pin down Ukrainian defences in Myrnohrad.
"Recently in Myrnohrad, Ukrainian troops killed a group from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Russia’s General Staff. These enemy units operate in the second echelon after sabotage groups and oversee the tasks of the first echelon.
We are seeing more attempts by Russian troops to push into Myrnohrad from the direction of Krasnyi Lyman. Our forces are taking out the enemy on the approaches to the city," the 7th Corps of Airborne Assault Troops.
