Italy has officially approved twelfth package of military aid to Ukraine

An interdepartmental decree on Italy's twelfth military aid package to Ukraine has come into force.
According to Censor.NET, the document was published on 14 November in the Official Gazette of Italy.
What does the new aid package entail?
The decree was signed by Italian Defence Minister Guido Crosetto in agreement with the ministers of foreign affairs and economy. It allows for the transfer of military vehicles, materials and equipment to Ukraine.
"Vehicles, materials and equipment shall be transferred to the recipient free of charge," the decree states.
The list of specific equipment is contained in a classified document of the General Staff of the Italian Armed Forces and is not published for security reasons.
Italy's overall military support to Ukraine
The government of Giorgia Meloni has previously sent 11 aid packages since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. The total cost of these packages is estimated at between €2.5 and €3 billion.
According to unofficial data, Italy has already transferred two batteries of SAMP/T air defence systems to Kyiv.
