"There were no strikes on energy facilities last night, but yesterday afternoon there were strikes on energy infrastructure in several regions. We are now seeing a reorientation of the Russian army towards strikes on logistics.
Drone strikes on ordinary buildings in cities also continue. A ballistic missile was used against the Kharkiv region, damaging warehouses of an ordinary civilian production facility, which is an American company," the president said.
The Russians struck one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia with "Shahed" drones. FPV drones continue to strike Kherson, cities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and most of all Nikopol, almost around the clock. The situation is difficult in the border areas of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.
"There was a report on Donetsk Oblast. The situation in Cherkasy Oblast was considered separately: much more needs to be done to guarantee people's basic needs, especially for houses with electric heating.
Additional forces are being deployed to Kyiv: as of this morning, there were 378 multi-storey buildings without heating. Reports were also given on the situation in Kyiv region, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi and Zhytomyr regions," Zelenskyy added.
The President tasked the Minister of Defence and the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force with developing drone defence along the line between Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
"Last year, the Headquarters made relevant decisions, which have only been partially implemented to date. I have instructed that an appropriate inspection be carried out and response measures be presented. Thank you to everyone who is helping! Glory to Ukraine!" he concluded.
