Woman on bicycle helps evacuate damaged Ukrainian UGV in Sumy region. VIDEO

In the Sumy region, a local woman riding a bicycle helped Ukrainian troops evacuate an unmanned ground vehicle damaged after hitting a Russian mine.

According to Censor.NET, the unusual episode during combat operations was filmed by soldiers of the 71st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the 8th Corps of the Air Assault Forces.

While carrying out a combat mission, a Ukrainian UGV hit an enemy mine and lost the ability to move on its own. The troops sent another robotic platform to evacuate it.

The second UGV reached the damaged vehicle, but attempts to attach it for towing remotely were unsuccessful.

At that moment, a local woman was cycling along the road. Seeing the robotic platforms, she stopped and helped secure the damaged UGV for evacuation.

The operational robot was then able to tow its damaged "brother-in-arms" out of the dangerous area.

"We are sincerely proud of this woman's courage and willingness to help. Despite her heroism, we urge you not to take risks," the Ukrainian troops said.
