Following a massive attack by the Russian Federation, the ‘Omega Telecom’ data centre in Kyiv ceased operations.
The company announced this on Facebook, according to Censor.NET.

"We must acknowledge the fact: following a massive enemy attack, the ‘Omega Telecom’ data centre in Kyiv has ceased operations.
We are continuing to restore communication channels and internet access at our backup sites.
This is a difficult time for us, but we are not giving up!" the post reads.
What led up to this?
- It was previously reported that Russian troops had launched a second attack on the data centre of telecoms operator Cosmonova.net in Kyiv. The strike caused service disruptions, including intermittent internet access for some customers.
- It later emerged that the Cosmonova data centre in Kyiv had ceased operations.
- Zelenskyy stated that Russian troops are carrying out an operation to strike Ukrainian data centres in order to cut Ukrainians off from communication, but Ukraine is countering this.
- According to media reports, a number of TV channels, as well as the MEGOGO and SWEET TV services, are unavailable in Kyiv and other cities.
- The ‘Parkovyi’ data centre has completely ceased operations following strikes by the Russian Federation.
