On Thursday, 17 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Brussels for a visit to attend the EU Summit.

Zelenskyy was met by the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
The President is expected to present the Victory Plan to the EU leaders today.
As a reminder, on 16 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan at a meeting in the Verkhovna Rada. The main points of the Victory Plan include inviting Ukraine to join NATO and strengthening defense.
One of the points of the "Victory Plan" is also the lifting of restrictions on the use of Western long-range weapons against military targets in Russia.
