During his visit to Kyiv, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Zelenskyy inspected air and ground drones, FPV drones, and control systems.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Presidential Office.
Thus, the leaders examined the latest products with automatic target detection and engagement systems, including UAVs, FPV drones, ground robotic systems, and a drone swarm control system.
The exhibition showcased drones of domestic production, as well as those developed in Ukraine in cooperation with German companies.
"In particular, one of the drones uses artificial intelligence target acquisition systems manufactured by German companies. Another one is the result of the work of a localised German company that has opened a centre in Ukraine to manufacture and maintain the equipment already delivered," the statement said.
The manufacturers told Zelenskyy and Scholz about the characteristics of airborne and ground-based unmanned systems, as well as the specifics of their application.
Examples of combat use of domestic weapons with computer vision, automatic targeting and homing systems were also demonstrated.
