"We continue to work on air defense. In particular, at the NATO summit in Washington, there was a very clear, specific agreement on air defense systems for Ukraine, as well as on the procurement of brigades. This has not yet been fully implemented. And we are counting on our Nordic partners to help us with this in contacts with other partners. Agreements must be fulfilled. And even more so in a war like this.
I would like to thank all the Nordic countries for their support of the Victory Plan - it is an action strategy that is already on the table. Please, we are ready to hear proposals from other countries, other views. But for now, our Victory Plan has a clear, calculated vision of further actions together with our partners. The main thing is to find the determination to implement the points, and this will definitely bring peace closer. I am also grateful for the full understanding of our logic behind the NATO invitation to Ukraine. Ukraine always offers only what will really help to exert pressure for real peace. And we never tire of explaining this, in particular to our partners in Berlin, Washington and others.
We are also already seeing the outlines of the Ramstein meeting to be held in the coming weeks. This is important. It is very important that each support package is fully implemented and that our steps with partners are truly joint and as effective as possible," Zelenskyy said.
Ukraine's "Victory Plan"
As a reminder, on 16 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan at a meeting in the Verkhovna Rada. The main points of the Victory Plan include inviting Ukraine to join NATO and strengthening defence.
According to Zelenskyy, the Victory Plan consists of five points and three secret annexes. The secret annexes are to the defence, economic and deterrence points, and are available to partners with the appropriate assistance capacity.
According to media reports, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is preparing another Plan, which will deal with internal decisions and will not be an alternative to the Victory Plan.
