Russian troops continue to attack Ukrainian cities and towns using guided aerial bombs, attack drones and missiles.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.
He recalled that during that night alone, Russia attacked Ukraine using almost 150 attack drones.
"As of now, we know about ten victims, including a child. In Kyiv, the attack claimed the lives of three people, including a father and his five-year-old daughter. Yesterday, three people were killed in Zaporizhzhia. A family: a father, a mother, and a 17-year-old daughter. My condolences to the families and friends of the victims," the President wrote.
Zelenskyy also stressed that such attacks occur every day.
"This week, more than 1,580 guided aerial bombs, almost 1,100 attack drones, and 15 missiles of various types were used against our people. All these weapons have at least 102,000 foreign components. Therefore, sanctions against Russian terrorists must work more effectively. Every scheme that allows them to circumvent the sanctions regime must be eliminated," he added.
In addition, the President called for new solutions, new pressure on Moscow to stop such strikes and this war.
"We have to strengthen Ukraine and our army - more air defenseE systems and real help. I am grateful to all partners who understand this and continue to support Ukraine," Zelenskyy concluded.
