To say that when I was minister, blows to energy sector were less severe is incorrect, - Halushchenko. VIDEO
Former Minister Herman Halushchenko stated that the blows to the energy sector when he headed the Ministry of Energy were no less severe.
He made this statement during a break in the court hearing, according to Censor.NET.
What is known?
He stated that when he was in charge of the Ministry of Energy, the attacks were no less intense than they are now.
"They (the occupiers. - Ed.) began striking on 22 March 2024 and continued until March 2025. On 26 August, there were 236 strikes. The ratio was 140 missiles and the rest drones. There were many more missiles than drones.
13 December 2024 - 300 weapons, the most massive strike at that time. But there were 160 missiles. Therefore, it is not true to say that something was easier. And those who are taking advantage of the situation now are doing so because of Halushchenko. When Halushchenko was there, the situation was different," he said.
Halushchenko also confirmed that he received information and even the new minister (Svitlana Hrynchuk) consulted with him.
"Who else could they consult? Which energy minister in the history of Ukraine has gone through four winters of war?" said the former minister.
He believes that this case is a blow to his reputation.
Suspicion against Herman Halushchenko

- The media also reported that Halushchenko would be charged after being taken to Kyiv.
- Halushchenko was notified of suspicion of laundering more than $112 million.
