In Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, an incident has been reported involving the mobilisation of a 34-year-old man who is a single father raising his 5-year-old daughter. The girl’s father was taken to the TCR and SS whilst his child was at nursery.
According to Censor.NET, citing the Kryvyi Rih-based publication "SVOI", representatives of law enforcement agencies, including the juvenile prevention unit, arrived at the TCR building, whilst journalists remained at the scene for over four hours.
According to the court register, the girl’s mother has, by court order, relinquished custody but pays child maintenance, whilst the child officially lives with her father. According to journalists, the man had previously been wanted by the police and had twice applied for a deferral, which was refused (presumably because the court ruling lacked a clear formulation regarding "sole custody").
Upon learning of the father’s arrest, the headteacher of Nursery School No. 125, Natalia Yevtushenko, collected the girl, called a taxi and went to the TCR to report that the child had been left unattended. As the law enforcement officers and representatives of the military registration and enlistment office did not reach an immediate decision regarding the father’s return, the head of the nursery reported the situation to the police and took the child home with her.
