Russia’s Energy Minister and husband of Putin’s niece, Tsivilev, on petrol shortage in Russia: "I drive on diesel… Diesel is available at all petrol stations". VIDEO

Sergei Tsivilev, the Russian Federation’s Minister of Energy and husband of Putin’s niece, has commented on the situation regarding queues and petrol shortages at Russian petrol stations.

According to Censor.NET, whilst speaking to a journalist on the sidelines of an event, Tsivilev noted that he himself does not face any difficulties, as he drives a diesel-powered car.

"I drive a diesel car…There’s diesel at all petrol stations…", said a relative of Putin.

At the same time, Tsivilev acknowledged the existence of long queues at petrol stations for petrol-powered cars and stated that the relevant ministry is "actively working" to resolve this issue.
