The Ukrainian Defence Forces have launched another strike against military infrastructure on Russian territory.
According to Censor.NET, a long-range strike company from the 429th ‘ACHILLES’ Brigade successfully struck the Russian ‘Nebo-U’ radar station at the ‘Millerovo’ military airfield in the Rostov region.
The estimated value of the radar station destroyed or damaged is around 100 million US dollars.
The enemy airfield is situated 170 kilometres from the front line. From this location, Russian occupiers regularly launch ‘Shahed’-type attack UAVs, as well as other types of attack and decoy drones, to carry out aerial terror attacks on the eastern, central and northern regions of Ukraine. The destruction of the radar station allows for fire control over this strategic facility and significantly weakens the enemy’s air defence and surveillance systems.
