Estonia to start testing its anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine next year

In 2025, the Estonian defence company Frankenburg Technologies will begin testing anti-aircraft missiles developed by it in Ukraine.

This was reported by ERR, Censor.NET informs.

CEO Kusti Salm said that an agreement to conduct the tests had already been reached.

According to the publication, Frankenburg plans to initially produce several dozen missiles a week, and by the third quarter to reach a production volume of several hundred missiles per week.

Features of the Mark 1 missile 

"The company is developing relatively inexpensive missiles to shoot down drones that use artificial intelligence to hit targets.

The Mark 1 anti-aircraft missile from Frankenburg, according to the company, should be more effective against Iranian 'Shahed' kamikaze drones," ERR notes.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine announced that Estonia would provide air defence missiles for testing.
