EU Council approves disbursement of €4.2 billion to Ukraine under Ukraine Facility - Shmyhal

On December 9, the EU Council approved another disbursement to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, we are talking about receiving €4.2 billion this month, which will bring the total assistance under this initiative to €16 billion this year.
"Such financial support demonstrates the determination to strengthen our economy, support key reforms and European integration aspirations, and strengthen Ukraine on its path to victory.
Together we are building a future based on stability, democracy and unity in Europe," Shmyhal added.
Earlier, Shmyhal said that Estonia would allocate EUR 100 million annually to Ukraine for defense.
