Peskov on Trump’s plans to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles: This will be escalation

The Kremlin responded to Trump’s plans regarding Tomahawk missiles

Russian dictator's Dmitry Peskov spokesperson believes that Trump's decision to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles will be another escalation.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media.

"Russia's position on the US supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine was clearly stated by Putin: it will be an escalation, but it will not change the situation for Kyiv," he said.

According to Peskov, Russia assumes that Trump remains committed to helping resolve the "Ukrainian conflict."

Earlier, Trump said that "to a certain extent" he had approved the decision to send Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing two sources, that US President Donald Trump told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that he was ready to lift restrictions on Ukraine's use of long-range US weapons to strike Russia.

US Vice President J.D. Vance said in an interview with Fox News that the administration of US President Donald Trump is discussing the potential provision of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Kellogg also said that the White House and the US president himself do not object to Ukraine's attacks on targets located deep in Russia.
