Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 39 enemy UAVs during night attack, - Air Force. INFOGRAPHICS
On the night of 2 December, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 62 strike UAVs, more than 35 of which were "shaheds". Air defence and EW units shot down 39 drones.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Enemy UAV launches were recorded from the following areas:
- Bryansk;
- Orel;
- Millerovo;
- Primorsko-Akhtarsk
- Cape Chauda - TOT Crimea;
- Donetsk.
Over 35 of them were "shaheds".
The result of the work of the air defence forces
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, EW and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 a.m., air defence forces shot down/suppressed 39 enemy Shahed and Gerbera UAVs and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
"Twenty strike UAVs have been recorded hitting eight locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace," the Air Force said.
