Trump has criticised NATO countries for refusing to support US in war against Iran

Donald Trump stated that most NATO countries have refused to participate in a U.S. military operation against Iran to protect the Strait of Hormuz. He claims that Washington "does not need the help" of its allies.
He wrote about this on his social media platform Truth Social, according to Censor.NET.
Trump criticized NATO countries
"Most of our NATO 'allies' have informed the United States that they do not wish to participate in our military operation against the terrorist regime of Iran in the Middle East, and this is despite the fact that nearly every country fully supported our actions and believed that Iran must under no circumstances be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
"However, I am not surprised by their actions, as I have always considered NATO—on which we spend hundreds of billions of dollars every year to defend these very countries—to be a one-sided arrangement: we will defend them, but they will do nothing for us, especially in times of need," the U.S. president said.
The U.S. does not need NATO's help
Trump says the U.S. has destroyed Iran's armed forces, as well as its navy, air force, air defense systems, and the country's leaders.
"Because we have achieved such military success, we no longer 'need' or want help from NATO countries—WE NEVER NEEDED IT! The same applies to Japan, Australia, or South Korea. In fact, as the President of the United States of America, undoubtedly the most powerful country in the world, WE DO NOT NEED HELP FROM ANYONE!" — added the head of the White House.
