Head of RTCR and SS detained in Volyn, who made conscripts unfit for "Oberig" for $3000. PHOTOS
Law enforcement officers exposed an official of a district military commissariat in Volyn on receiving a $3,000 bribe. The head of the supply department demanded this amount from men of military age for assistance in evading mobilisation.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press services of the Prosecutor General's Office and the National Police.
It has been established that for this money, military personnel were retroactively issued military registration documents on passing the MMC and uploaded data on their unfitness to "Oberig".
The head of the TCR and another man received $6,000 from two conscripts.
The police detained them both while they were transferring the bribe from the intermediary to the official, and conducted 19 authorised searches at their places of residence and work. As a result, investigators seized USD 60,000 and UAH 170,000, as well as ammunition.
Both men were served a notice of suspicion of obtaining an unlawful benefit under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
They face 5 to 10 years in prison with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and confiscation of property.
The suspects are currently being imposed a measure of restraint.
