According to him, this unique architectural heritage, built by Joseph Langbard in 1939, has suffered from hostilities for the first time since the Second World War.
"Looking at the shattered windows this morning, I can state with complete confidence on behalf of our entire diplomatic team: Russian terrorists will not stop us. Ukrainian diplomacy will continue to carry out its tasks effectively, resist Russian aggression and bring peace closer. It is also important to note that the Russian strikes targeted a historic area, the very heart of ancient Rus. This is further proof that we are dealing with hordes of barbarians, not the heirs of civilisation," Sybiha emphasised.
