St Petersburg’s air defence forces attempt to shoot down Ukrainian drone over burning oil terminal with automatic rifle. VIDEO

The Russian air defence system, deep within the aggressor nation’s rear, continues to demonstrate its inability to protect strategic sites from air strikes. According to Censor.NET, a telling video has been published online, capturing the specific methods used to protect military and strategic sites in the Russian Federation.

The footage shows a large column of black smoke and a massive fire at a local oil terminal in St Petersburg. At that moment, a Ukrainian drone flies directly over the burning facility.

A Russian in uniform came to the defence of the burning oil depot. As there were no specialised air defence systems nearby, the occupier began firing at the low-flying drone with standard automatic weapons.

"St Petersburg’s air defence. A gunner stands there trying to shoot down a Ukrainian drone with an automatic rifle," the authors of the post comment ironically on the video.
