Zaporizhzhia NPP power supply lines are being repaired by Ukrainian specialists - Ministry of Energy

Ukrainian specialists are currently restoring the power lines that supply the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Repair work is ongoing at this moment.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Ministry of Energy.
As noted, this is the 42nd time since the start of the full-scale invasion that Ukrainian energy workers have restored the lines supplying the station.
Ukraine's position on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
"Connecting the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to the Ukrainian power grid and ensuring its stable operation by Ukrainian specialists are fundamental prerequisites for preventing any incidents and accidents at Europe's largest nuclear facility," the Ministry of Energy emphasizes.
Threats to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
It is also noted that the only cause of unprecedented risks and threats of a radiation incident in Europe is Russian military aggression, the occupation of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and systematic shelling of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
What preceded it?
Earlier, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, announced that repairs had begun on the power lines supplying the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. There is a local "ceasefire" near the plant.
Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is critical, with the plant operating on generators for the seventh day. On September 29, Sibiga and Grossi discussed the threats to the ZNPP.
It was also reported that due to the lack of external power supply for more than 72 hours, emergency generators at the Zaporizhzhia NPP are operating at maximum capacity. There is a possibility of uncontrolled heating of the reactors, comparable to the Fukushima scenario.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that Russian occupiers are trying to involve the IAEA in reconnecting the station to justify the theft.
