This was announced on air by the head of the RMA, Vadym Filashkin, according to Censor.NET.

"Local residents are unable to leave their shelters and leave the city on their own. The enemy is shelling every day. We saw how the Russian army shot women and elderly people who had come out either to the point of resilience or to get drinking water," he said.

According to the FT, Russia has intensified its offensive in the east, and the situation around Pokrovsk has deteriorated significantly.
On October 27, the AAB reported that fighting was continuing in Pokrovsk with groups of Russians who had infiltrated and gathered in various parts of the city.
On October 26, Zelenskyy reported that the Russians had concentrated their main strike force against Pokrovsk, and fierce fighting was continuing in the city.
According to information from the General Staff, as of October 26, 200 Russian soldiers had infiltrated Pokrovsk, and small arms fire was ongoing.
