Evacuation from Pokrovsk is almost impossible, with more than 1,200 people remaining there, - RMA

There are currently 1,256 people in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
This was announced on air by the head of the RMA, Vadym Filashkin, according to Censor.NET.
"Local residents are unable to leave their shelters and leave the city on their own. The enemy is shelling every day. We saw how the Russian army shot women and elderly people who had come out either to the point of resilience or to get drinking water," he said.

Today, the head of the region noted, evacuation from Pokrovsk is almost impossible.
What preceded it?
