Emergency services are currently working at the sites of the Russian night-time strikes; the number of casualties has already reached around 100.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to Censor.NET.
Emergency services are on the ground
"I would like to thank all our services currently working at the sites of the Russian night-time strikes. Units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and municipal services. Everyone is acting as effectively as possible, given the scale of the attack and its consequences: around 100 people have been injured across the country, and four more, sadly, have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones. In Kyiv alone, around 30 residential buildings have been damaged or destroyed," Zelenskyy said.
Strengthening air defence
The President emphasised the importance of supporting one another.
"I thank every single person who is helping the victims. Further support from our partners is no less important. I am grateful to everyone who is now offering words of support. But concrete steps are also needed to strengthen air defence – the supply of missiles must not stop for a single day," he added.
