Oleksandr Tarnavskyi

General Tarnavsky has recently been appointed as the commander of the Operational-Tactical Group "Donetsk" (OTG "Donetsk"), overseeing critical defensive operations in Eastern Ukraine's hotspots such as Kurakhove and Pokrovsk. Under his leadership, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have engaged in multiple combat encounters, strategically countering aggressive maneuvers by opposing forces. Despite challenging conditions and fierce combat, the control remains with the Ukrainian side, as reported in multiple confrontations within the Tavria direction. General Tarnavsky's tactical prowess is evident from the sustained resistance and significant losses inflicted on the adversary, with hundreds of enemy troops neutralized and significant equipment destroyed under his command. His role in orchestrating defensive strategies has been pivotal in stabilizing the situation across several fronts, ensuring territorial integrity and boosting the morale of Ukrainian defenders.
