Key oil refining unit at Moscow Refinery, which serves as its "heart," has been damaged, - SSU

The SSU, together with other defense forces, struck the Moscow Oil Refinery—a key supplier of fuel to the Russian capital.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the SSU press centre.
The "heart" of the plant has been hit
As noted, a massive fire broke out in the vicinity of the facility as a result of the strike. According to preliminary reports, a key crude oil processing unit—which serves as the "heart" of the plant—has been damaged.
"Soldiers from the SSU's ‘Alpha’ Special Operations Center, together with other Defense Forces, carried out a successful strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery (Moscow Oblast, the Russian Federation). The distance to the target from Ukraine's state border is approximately 500 kilometers," the SSU clarified.
What is known about the facility?
It is Moscow’s largest oil refinery. The facility supplies a significant portion of the Russian capital’s fuel market, providing key volumes of gasoline and over 50% of the region’s diesel fuel, as well as fuel for Moscow’s airports.
Strike on the Krasnodar Region
In addition, overnight, SSU drones successfully struck the infrastructure of the "Poltavskaya" oil depot in the Krasnodar Region. A fire also broke out there.
"As a reminder, the oil industry is one of the main sources of revenue for the Russian Federation’s budget, which is used to finance the war against Ukraine. Striking such targets inflicts multimillion-dollar losses on the aggressor state, disrupts production and logistics chains, and reduces russia’s economic capacity to continue its armed aggression," the SSU concludes.
